This evaluation is about how i created my video profile and what is need to be improved, until we have done our next blog.

Evidence of a script and filming locations

I’m Glenn Ubasa, from West London. I’m an 18 years college student at CWC (City of Westminster College) doing BTEC National Diploma in New Media Yr1. I usually like listening to music to make me more relaxing and to calm myself down when I’m in a bad position. My favourite colours are Black and Blue. Black because is a sign of darkness and I always like wearing any clothes which is black. Blue means the colour of nature and it makes you feel more comfortable when you’re in bad position.

When I’m really bored, I’ll just go out of the house and go to the park, to get some fresh air and to take out all of the stress of what is inside your mind. I play some sports like Badminton, Pool, Table Tennis and baseball or probably write lyrics

Over the past few years of life, I have been through many experiences that I have done at school or probably in some events like the barrio fiesta, one of them performing on my own for the first time, which in my opinion is a very nerve-wracking thing to do after the performance.

I was proud of myself that I have done it. Unlike the other performances, I was in a group before but I decided to leave the dance group that I was to do something different which I haven’t experienced before.

Barrio Fiesta is an occasion where all of the Filipinos were gathered in one place to celebrate the festival. This festival is not only visited by the Filipinos and can visit by any other parts of the world. When I arrived there at the festival, it reminds me of how much I miss the Philippines and how much I wanted to go back home and to see everyone again.

On the weekends, my mom and myself goes to a Filipino store in Earl’s Court to buy some food e.g. Pancit Canton (Kalamansi Flavour). This reminds me of eating this food with my friends and family back home, and all of us were having a great time while eating it.

I explain myself as a quiet, funny, annoying, and an energetic person, this only happens on what mood am I on because I can be very moody sometimes.

Locations:

·         There will be long shots of the people walking in the park where I spend the rest of my time (Park)  

·         Shots of people playing different kinds of sports (Sports Centre)

·         Shots of people at going inside a Filipino store. (Video  Clip of me in front of a Filipino store in Earl’s Court)

·         A shot of me wearing a black/blue t-shirt (Home)

Glossary Of Terms

.mov (Quicktime) = developed by Apple, which can handle various formats of digital video, sound, animation and interactivity.

.avi (Windows Media Player)= is a multimedia container format which plays both audio and video data's

Streaming= transmission of digital audio/video or the listening and viewing for people to receive and view.

File Compression=  compress a file or group of files to reduce their overall size. This is used to save Disk Space when saving files. This is also use to transmit larger files over the internet faster. Not all files can be compressed equally.

Aspect Ratio= It means the ratio of the width to the height of the TV picture. 

For example: 4:3 and 16:9

Frame Rates= is an imaging device produces unique consecutive images/frames displayed per second.
